Jeremiah 17:7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose trust is the Lord. 8 “For he will be like a tree planted by the water, That extends its roots by a stream, and will not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought… New American Standard Bible

Psalm 52:8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the steadfast love of God forever and ever. English Standard Version

#1 HEALTHY TREES GROW DEEP

Mark 4:17 “But since they don’t have deep roots, they don’t last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God’s word.” New Living Translation

Colossians 2:6 Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, 7 rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. English Standard Version

Ephesians 3:17 “Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.” New Living Translation

#2 HEALTHY TREES GROW WIDE

1 Thessalonians 5:11 "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” New International Version

Ephesians 4:15 …Speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. New International Version

Acts 4:32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. New International Version

#3 HEALTHY TREES SAY “MY ROOTS ARE RIGHT HERE”

Psalm 92:12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 13 Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. 14 In old age they will still bear fruit; healthy and green they will remain, 15 to proclaim, “The LORD is upright; He is my Rock, and in Him there is no unrighteousness.” Berean Study Bible

Galatians 5:17 For there is a root of sinful self-interest in us that is at odds with a free spirit, just as the free spirit is incompatible with selfishness. These two ways of life are antithetical, so that you cannot live at times one way and at times another way according to how you feel on any given day. 18 Why don't you choose to be led by the Spirit and so escape the erratic compulsions of a law-dominated existence? The Message

#4 HEALTHY TREES ARE PLANTED IN EVERY SEASON

Psalm 92:14 In old age they will still bear fruit; healthy and green they will remain. Berean Study Bible
