In our Old Testament, the Jewish Bible, there are approximately 300 prophecies concerning Jesus' first coming, including His birth, life, death, and resurrection. By comparison, there are at least 1,200 prophecies concerning His second coming and His future reign on earth.
That's four times as many prophecies concerning Jesus’ second coming as His first. The sheer number of these prophecies underscores the certainty of His return. And that's before adding the more than 300 New Testament references to His second coming and future reign on earth.

The re-establishment of Israel in 1948 may not complete the prophetic picture, but it is difficult to ignore its historical and theological significance in light of God’s covenant with Abraham. The full promise includes more than land; it includes transformed Jewish hearts and a reigning King—both of which the New Testament boldly declares will happen.
