What Your Children See Monday through Saturday Will Define What Sunday Means to Them

God Made the Husband the Spiritual Head of the Home.

He Is Called to Lead, Serve, Protect, Sacrifice, and Nurture.

Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. 24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. New King James Version

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, … New King James Version

Ephesians 6:1 “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: 3 “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.” New King James Version

Ephesians 6:4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. New King James Version

The Bible doesn't tell fathers not to discipline their children. It tells fathers not to discourage their children. A Godly father corrects without crushing, disciplines without embittering, and leads without provoking.

Ephesians 6:4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up (nourish, feed, nurture, help them mature) in the training (instruction, discipline) and admonition (counsel, encouragement, warning, teaching) of the Lord. New King James Version

Dads Must Make God’s Word the Loudest Voice in Their Home

Deuteronomy 6:6 And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands (NT: Commands and teachings of Jesus) that I am giving you today. New Living Translation

Deuteronomy 6:7 Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. New Living Translation

Deuteronomy 6:8 Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. 9 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. New Living Translation

Proverbs 6:21 Bind them always on your heart; fasten them around your neck. 22 When you walk, they will guide you; when you sleep, they will watch over you; when you awake, they will speak to you. 23 For this command is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and correction and instruction are the way to life, … New International Version

Dads Must Stand Watch Over the Spiritual Atmosphere of Their Home

Ephesians 6:12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. New Living Translation

James 4:7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. New Living Translation

Dad’s, Must Pray God’s Plan to Come to Pass Over Their Children

Jeremiah 1:5 “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” New Living Translation

Galatians 1:15 But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased… New International Version

Joshua 24:15 “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” New King James Version
