Christians Don’t Fight For Victory, We Fight From Victory

1 John 5:4 …for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. New International Version

We’ve Inherited a Position of Honor, Authority, and Access to God

Ephesians 1:19 …and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, … New International Version

Ephesians 1:21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,  New International Version

Ephesians 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, …  New International Version

In Jewish Culture the Person Who Sat on the Right Hand of the King Had Honor, Authority, and Delegated Power

God Has Adopted Us as His Sons

Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sonsAnd because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through ChristNew King James Version

Abraham’s first-born son, Ishmael was rejected, and Isaac was made his heir. Isaac’s first-born son, Esau was rejected, and Jacob was made his heir. Jacob’s first-born son, Reuben, was rejected and Joseph was made his heir. Joseph’s first-born son Manasseh was rejected, and Ephraim became his heir.

Our Enemy is a Defeated Foe and Doesn’t Have Any Authority Over Us.

Colossians 2:15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. New King James Version

Colossians 2:15 He stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them naked through the streets. The Message

We’ve Inherited Access Into God’s Very Presence to Worship and to Ask For Anything

Hebrews 10:19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, … New King James Version

Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. New King James Version

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. New King James Version

We’ve Inherited a Position of Authority We Can Exercise Through Prayer

Philippians 1:19 For I know that this will turnout for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, …  New King James Version

1 Timothy 2:1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all menfor kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. New King James Version

We’ve Inherited a Position of Authority Over All Temptations the Enemy Launches Our Way

James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. New King James Version
