Gifts Can Flow Everywhere You Go

1 Corinthians 12:1 What I want to talk about now is the various ways God’s Spirit gets worked into our lives. This is complex and often misunderstood, but I want you to be informed and knowledgeable. The Message
Speaking Gifts (They say something)
Prophecy, Speaking in Tongues, & Interpretation of Tongues
Power Gifts (They do something)
Gift of Faith, Gifts of Healing, & Miracles
Revelation Gifts (They reveal something)
Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge, & Discerning of Spirits
Gifts Must Be Governed
1 Corinthians 14:39 Therefore, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. 40 But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way. New International Version
Some Gifts Don’t Work Well in Large Gatherings
1 Corinthians 14:26 What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up. New International Version
1 Corinthians 14:27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, two—or at the most three—should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. 28 If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God. New International Version
1 Corinthians 14:29 Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. 30 And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop. New International Version
1 Corinthians 14:31 For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged. 32 The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets. New International Version

We Must Ask, Is This Service Public Or Private?
1 Corinthians 14:23 So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and inquirers or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind? New International Version
Gifts Don’t Need Worship To Work
Acts 4:29 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. New International Version
Acts 4:30 Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus. New International Version
