Compassion Offering

Merry Christmas, Believers Church!  

2025 has been a year full of fun and excitement as we work together to reach the valley and far beyond. There are countless ways that we can measure the eternal difference you are making, but one way that excites us most is the number of lives changed and transformed. This year, we saw 503 people make a decision to follow Jesus! We also witnessed 126 people go public with their faith in the waters of baptism! Believers Church is a multiplying movement of disciples making disciples, and our mission is to help these amazing people move from a one-time decision to a life of discipleship.

We are overflowing with vision to take the love and life of Jesus to people in the darkest of situations and your generosity continues to help us do it. Over the past six years, you have made it possible for us to reach our community and beyond with the compassion of Jesus. Through your generous contribution to our 2025 Compassion Fund, we were able to raise (in all BC campuses) $54,728. Wow! This year, we are looking to make an even bigger difference!

As always, we aim to be good stewards of the resources entrusted to our care. So, we carefully chose to support ministries and organizations which would not only bring immediate relief to those in need, but also help them succeed in the future.

Through those ministries you helped people, in the name of Jesus to:  

·      Support disaster relief through the Samaritan’s Purse.

·      Provided food, water, shelter, and medical help to those devastated by the recent disasters in Israel.

·      Fight sex trafficking.

·      Recover from addiction.

·      Build life-skills after being incarcerated.

·      Take a stand against violence in our community.

·      Save the lives of over 249 babies in 2025 so far (2,945 over the last 13 years just from our local pregnancy center).

·      Receive prayer, food, education, housing and safety to children and their families here and all over the world.

·      Provide beds to children who had none.

·      Recover from the loss of a loved one who was martyred for sharing their faith in a heavily persecuted country.

When I think about Believers Church, I’m reminded of Paul’s words to a first-century church in Corinth:

2 Corinthians 9:6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.” NIV

BC has always been committed to sowing generously with cheerful hearts! You inspire us to excel in the grace of giving, and we couldn’t be prouder! Our prayer is that God would “bless you abundantly, so that you will abound in every good work!”

On December 14, we’ll begin to receive the 2026 Compassion Offering. Would you join Gina and I as we ask God what He would lead us to give above our regular offerings? We believe this is an opportunity to make the biggest impact to date!

How to Give: There are several simple and secure ways to give.

1.     Online - Give Here and be sure to assign your gift to “Compassion” in the drop-down menu. It will default to the Warren Campus. If you want your gift to go to the Boardman campus select “Compassion Boardman.”  

2.     In the Offering - You can give from now on at any of our services. Just remember to use an envelope and mark “Compassion.”

3.     Text In - Simply send the amount you’d like to give to the number (330) 239-8881 (Example: $100Compassion) or ($100 Compassion Boardman).  

4.     Mail In - You can also send in your gift through the mail to Believers Church, 2577 Schenley Ave NE, Warren, OH 44483. Attn: Cory Clement
