John 16:7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. New International Version
Acts 1:4 “And while they were gathered together, He commanded them: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift the Father promised...” Berean Standard Bible
John 3:8 The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can't tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can'texplain how people are born of the Spirit.' New Living Translation
1. DARKNESS IS DIFFERENT THAN LIGHT
1 Thessalonians 5:5 You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. New International Version
Isaiah 5:20 “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness…” New International Version
2. DARKNESS DOES HAVE POWER
Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. New International Version
1 John 4:2-3 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. New International Version
Acts19:17 When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor. 18 Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed what they had done. 19 A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. 20 In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power. New International Version
3. COUNTERFEITS CAN’T STAND IN GOD’S PRESENCE
1 Samuel 5:1 After the Philistines had captured the ark of God, they took it from Ebenezerto Ashdod. 2 Then they carried the ark into Dagon’s temple and set it beside Dagon. 3 When the people of Ashdod rose early the next day, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord! They took Dagon and put him back in his place. 4 But the following morning when they rose, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the groundbefore the ark of the Lord! His head and hands had been broken off and were lying on the threshold; only his body remained. New International Version
2 Corinthians 4:8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. New International Version
